Stuff I have learned since giving birth

6) I have quite the milk supply. I have to clean drip spots off the floor from the frequent leakage that occurs when I travel from my room to the baby's room.

5) Breastfeeding burns 500 calories a shot. Sorry, no muscle toning happening...

4) Breast feeding makes you really really hungry. I am famished during those nightly feedings.

3) Breastfeeding also makes you really really thirsty. Like "ohmygodIneedwaterNOW" thirsty.

2) Breastfed babies don't have smelly poop. It just looks weird, kinda like those funky specialty dijon mustards.

1) If you get 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep, you're rockin'. 5 hours? You've been somehow blessed by the parenthood gods.
